Wheelchair Girl in Lagos

Wheelchair Girl in Lagos is a series birthed from my imagination, based on real-life experiences starring yours truly and a certain regular guest star. The carefully curated written pieces are about a differently abled girl and her fictional carer, Kevwe (based on me and my actual care-giver), taking the multicultural Lagosian landscape by storm, one commercial business at a time. All the time, reviewing their level of accessibility whilst engaged in casual conversation. These vignettes have been featured in Genevieve Magazine online and can be currently seen in the ThisDay Sunday lifestyle magazine every week. The column remains the most popular set of short stories on the Efena Smiles blog. It is the best brand of fictional non-fiction there is. Mostly, because I have oodles of fun writing them. So I all I can say is – enjoy my conscientiously selected words…
